	*Half term Holidays*
	Leaving the cold weather behind for a weeks half term holiday in the sun can be a great bonding experience for families and also educational for the children. The airlines however do charge a premium for those who stick to the actual week and best way to keep the cost down (if your child's school allows) is to try and go a few days either before or after the start of the half term as the flight cost will be cheaper. With the Spring half term holiday falling in February the best option would be either Egypt, Madeira or one of the Canary Isles where you will find temperatures in the mid 70's. A little closer to home (but not as warm) is either Cyprus or Malta which stays open throughout the year. If getting a tan isn't on your wish list then you could try either the Algarve, Majorca, Benidorm or the Costa del Sol. The Autumn half term usually falls at the end of October and any of the above holiday destination would be fine. You could also try any of the Greek Islands with the most southern islands of Crete and Rhodes offering the best weather. It should however be noted that this is usually the island's last week of their summer season and attractions and shops may have already closed.
